Job summary

CPUS Engineering Staffing Solutions Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Engineer to support the development and review of I&C designs for nuclear plant systems and modifications.

You will prepare technical specifications, calculations, drawings and engineering documentation. The role requires participation in design reviews, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Controls, Instrumentation or related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years I&C engineering or design experience, preferably nuclear.
• DE and DTL qualifications are assets.
• Familiarity with nuclear engineering processes, design documentation and plant-modification requirements.
• Strong analytical, technical writing and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and review of I&C designs for nuclear plant systems and modifications.
• Prepare technical specifications, calculations, drawings and engineering documentation.
• Review schematics, wiring diagrams, control logic and instrumentation documents.
• Assist with equipment selection, procurement, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Ensure engineering work complies with applicable codes, standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering, project and site teams.
• Provide technical support throughout the design and project lifecycle.
• Participate in design reviews and help resolve technical issues.
