Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a senior engineer to advance CANDU instrumentation and control systems, applying QA programs and standards. You will design, specify, and document I&C components, and lead technical discussions with clients and suppliers. Ontario PE registration is required, with 7–12 years of related experience.

The role supports integration with field teams, provides guidance to designers, and contributes to bids and project execution within a nuclear/industrial context.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree from an accredited university.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario (PEO).
• 7–12 years of engineering experience in relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering work following procedures and QA programs.
• Design and specify I&C systems, including control logic and setpoints.
• Prepare design documents, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers and other disciplines.
