Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to join our team of geologists, hydrogeologists and water professionals across Canada. You will work on hydrogeological characterization projects for mining, water supply, remediation and civil infrastructure, applying advanced modelling and field techniques.

You will lead multidisciplinary investigations, develop 3D geological models, and prepare comprehensive regulatory reports while mentoring junior staff and contributing to client engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related field.
• Currently registered or eligible to register as a Professional Geoscientist or Engineer.
• Experience with multidisciplinary teams of scientists and engineers.
• Experience in mining or mine closure/remediation.

Responsibilities

• Lead hydrogeological characterization projects across Canada for various sectors.
• Design and conduct hydrogeological investigations and sampling.
• Complete well design, installation, and aquifer testing.
• Oversee multidisciplinary field investigations and data interpretation.
• Develop 3D geological models and groundwater simulations.
• Prepare technical reports to satisfy regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and health and safety.
