Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to lead hydrogeology projects and support environmental assessments across multiple Canadian regions. The role includes field program design, groundwater sampling, modeling, and reporting for clients and communities.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Geoscience or Engineering, a professional license, and 10+ years of related experience, with strong mentoring and client-facing skills. Travel to remote communities may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Geoscience or Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer/Geologist status preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience in hydrogeology or environmental consulting.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental impact assessments and hydrogeological studies.
• Manage projects from conception to delivery, including field programs.
• Develop groundwater models and interpret results for reports.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical direction.
• Support business development and client relationships.
