Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to join our Environmental Services Team in Atlantic Canada. You will lead hydrogeology projects from fieldwork to modeling, with opportunities to influence groundwater supply, permitting, and protection initiatives.

You will work with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results, support client relationships, and mentor junior staff while advancing your career within a respected environmental firm.

Qualifications

• Experience in hydrogeological characterization and aquifer testing.
• Strong technical report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to lead projects and supervise junior staff.
• Experience with multidisciplinary teams and client management.

Responsibilities

• Promote health and safety within projects and programs.
• Develop budgets, scope, and schedules for hydrogeology projects.
• Coordinate field programs including drilling, well construction, and sampling oversight.
• Develop conceptual hydrogeologic models and interpret aquifer tests.
• Prepare technical reports and client presentations with findings and recommendations.
• Travel to field sites as required and support business development efforts.
