Stantec is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to join our Environmental Services team in Ontario, ideally Waterloo or Ottawa with flexibility to be based in other hydrogeology centers. The role focuses on high-quality hydrogeology solutions, client collaboration, and continuous learning within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education, ideally M.Sc., in Geoscience or Engineering with an emphasis on hydrogeology.
• Professional registration or eligibility (P.Geo. or P.Eng.) required.
• Minimum of 20 years of relevant working experience in consulting or regulatory environments.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Lead hydrogeology projects within multi-disciplinary teams of hydrologists, hydrogeologists, and geochemists; interact with clients.
• Develop preliminary conceptual hydrogeological models; design and oversee field investigations.
• Prepare proposals, work plans and budgets; develop client presentations and reports.
• Collaborate on baseline and impact assessments, groundwater and surface water studies, and groundwater modeling.
• Perform QA/QC of technical deliverables; travel to field sites as required.
