CIMA+ is actively seeking a Hydraulic Project Engineer / Project Coordinator for Water and Wastewater in Ontario. This role focuses on managing complex hydraulic modeling projects, coordinating internal teams, and maintaining strong client relationships across municipal water and wastewater initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering.
• P.Eng. designation in Ontario.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Strong background in hydraulic modeling and infrastructure planning.
• Proven project coordination or project management experience.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
• Proficiency with hydraulic modeling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with ArcGIS is considered an asset.
• Valid Class G driver’s licence with access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate water and wastewater hydraulic modeling projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, designers, and technical staff.
• Oversee the preparation and review of technical reports, studies, calculations, and drawings.
• Support project planning, infrastructure studies, and environmental assessments.
• Liaise with municipalities, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Participate in client meetings and provide ongoing project communication.
• Mentor junior and intermediate staff.
• Contribute to proposal preparation, fee estimates, and business development initiatives.
• Support construction coordination and implementation activities as required.
