Job summary

A leading electrical contracting company based in Mackenzie, BC, is seeking a Journeyperson PSE/Electrician to perform maintenance and installation of high-voltage electrical systems. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience, specializing in substations, and must hold a valid Power Systems Electrician certificate. This position offers a competitive pay range of $47.43 to $51.60 per hour and includes additional benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a PSE/Electrician with at least 2 years of experience in substations.
• Thorough knowledge of A.E.U.C Safety Codes Act and Occupational Health and Safety rules.
• Valid Alberta Provincial Class 5 driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, upgrading, and installation of electrical equipment in substations.
• Inspect and test high-voltage electrical equipment ensuring compliance with codes.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to PSE/Electrical Apprentices.
