ABOUT THE TEAM

As a member of a 14-person Human Resources team, you will be an integral part of the day-to-day operation of a busy Human Resources department supporting multiple divisions across Canada. We are a cohesive team with support and cross-training to foster growth. Our primary focus is providing professional HR guidance and support to leaders and employees. The team is led by the Director, Human Resources.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Handling various HR functions including leave management, performance management, employee relations, recruiting, intranet management, health benefits, and pensions. You will gain exposure to employment practices in a publicly traded company across provinces, working with employment legislation in multiple regions.

This is a permanent full-time role based in our downtown Vancouver head office, working five days a week.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Support experience with leave management programs including disability and workers' compensation claims.
  • Knowledge of performance management and program administration.
  • Experience supporting managers and front-line leaders.
  • Strong organizational skills managing multiple programs.
  • Understanding of Canadian provincial employment laws.
  • Effective communication skills, tactful and trustworthy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and diplomacy.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • At least 3 years of experience as a HR Generalist or Business Partner.
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources.
  • CPHR designation is an asset.
BENEFITS

The typical salary range is $80,000 - $88,000 annually, based on location and experience. Compensation includes:

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
