Job summary

BrokerLink seeks a Senior HR Consultant to provide expert guidance on performance management, employee relations, and change management across client groups in Canada. The role entails leading projects, advising managers, and delivering HR programs in a hybrid/hybrid-remote environment.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of HR experience, a valid CPHR/CHRL, and the ability to work with geographically dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HR Manager to resolve issues and support client groups.

However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.About the roleThrough the development of strong partnerships with managers and employees, the Senior HR Consultant will provide support and guidance on matters pertaining to performance management, employee relations, conflict resolution, change management, compensation, benefits, training and development, and respect in the workplace. In addition to the consulting responsibilities, the incumbent will be expected to lead specific or regional projects and initiatives related to various HR objectives.This role would be ideal for someone who would enjoy the challenge and wide scope of responsibility and consulting opportunity. We are looking for an individual who can provide practical and straightforward advice and support. You know how to anticipate problems and can act to avoid them early on. You have achieved success both through your own efforts and through collaborating with others. You are comfortable working autonomously and communicating with a remote team.What the Role Entails:Consult, coach and provide direction to managers and employees on matters pertaining to employee relations, performance management, disability management, the interpretation and application of company policies and employment legislation and change management initiatives, nationally.Facilitate the resolution of conflicts, complaints or problems.Ensure consistent understanding and delivery of HR policies and programs within the assigned client groups.Lead and support people related initiatives within the client groups, including the acquisition and integration process, reorganization, new role and team creation, compensation alignment, and related change management and communication strategies.Work with HR Manager to resolve issues where legal representation has been obtained.Lead or participate in the review of current human resources management programs and practices.
