Job summary

BrokerLink is seeking a Personal Insurance Advisor for a Northern Ontario office. You will service client needs, advise on policies, and write new business while maintaining existing accounts. No prior insurance experience is required; training is provided.

You will quote, liaise with underwriters, prepare insurer documentation, and participate in training and community marketing initiatives. This onsite role values collaboration and strong client focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• RIBO License would be an asset.
• Strong customer focus.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Service ongoing client needs and advise on insurance matters.
• Sell new policies and retain existing book of business.
• Quote new business through outbound call initiatives and walk-in clients.
• Contact Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy.
• Prepare documentation for insurers and issue insurance certificates.
• Keep current on underwriting rules and workflow processes.
• Participate in training initiatives and community marketing.
