Keyera Corp in Calgary seeks a Senior HRMS Analyst specializing in Workday to deliver functional expertise across HR modules and lead projects with our HRMS Team. This role will partner with HR, IT and external Workday resources on configurations, testing, deployment, and knowledge transfer.

You will own audits, year-end processes, and ongoing production support, ensuring accurate data, scalable processes, and strong documentation. Calgary-based, with potential Edmonton option.

Competenze

• University degree in HR or IT or related field.
• Workday certifications are an asset.
• 6-8+ years of Workday functional experience across multiple modules.
• Ability to translate IT language into business language.
• Strong documentation and analytical skills.

Reporting to the Team Lead HRMS, the successful candidate will be responsible for project initiatives as well as some operational production tasks/processes.This position will be based in Calgary (or possibly Edmonton).RESPONSIBILITIESAs the Workday subject matter expert, you will be responsible for providing functional expertise and ongoing support on both Projects and Production activities as it relates to Workday.Support for the some of the following modules: Human Capital Management, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, CAN Payroll, Talent, Succession, Recruitment, Advanced Compensation and Onboarding, as well as the cross functional areas such as Security, Business Processes and Reporting.Ad hoc Workday support, including questions, troubleshooting, configuration changes and advisory work.Scheduled support of our regular HR processes (e.g. Audits, Open Enrollment, Year Rollover, Year End, Performance Reviews/Goals/Development Plans and Annual Compensation Processes).Assume the lead role (and coordinate/work with our Workday partners) for planned projects, including detailed information gathering, analysis, configuration, testing, deployment, documentation, and knowledge transfer. Projects can include adding new modules or enhancing existing modules.Analyzing semi-annual Workday release changes, evaluating, and mitigating the impact of changes in Workday on other IT systems.Maintain an awareness of current and developing trends with relevant technologies and best practices by being an active member of the Workday Community.Work closely with the Technical Workday resource on integration work needed.Work closely with and split work with the other Senior HRMS Analyst, and help to train/mentor/work closely with the HRMS Analyst.QUALIFICATIONSFormal Education & CertificationA university education in Human Resources or IT or Business Analysis certification.Workday certifications are considered an asset.Knowledge, Experience & Skills6-8+ years progressively senior, applicable Workday functional experience, including an advanced understanding and configuration proficiency with multiple Workday modules.Proven ability to create/follow processes to ensure all work/future work is tracked and accounted for.Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.Able to develop and interpret functional documentation.Ability to translate IT language into business-friendly language.Good working knowledge of Excel and formulas.Personal AttributesVery strong customer service and team player orientation with the ability to build good relationships.Extremely detail oriented.Highly conscientious and accountable.Able to work autonomously.Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work effectively, confidentially & professionally.Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a busy environment.Excellent written and interpersonal skills.Posting Expiry Date:Nov 7, 2026At Keyera, we embrace collaboration, inclusion, and a workplace that is as diverse as the communities we serve.
