Job summary

Kruger - Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Limited is seeking a Human Resources Advisor to partner across our Corner Brook operations. The role supports a broad HR agenda in alignment with newsprint manufacturing objectives and works closely with management, employees and unions.

You will administer collective agreements, manage recruitment and succession, coordinate training, and drive performance and employee development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of Human Resources experience.
• CHRP certification is required or equivalent.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to act as a Change Agent and solve problems.
• Proficient use of computers and HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Support HR activities across all divisions to back manufacturing objectives.
• Interact with management, employees and unions to provide HR support and guidance.
• Administer collective agreements and labour relations processes including discipline and grievances.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning for union and salaried staff.
• Develop budgets and KPIs; monitor labour utilization and training metrics.
• Oversee employee development and performance appraisal processes; manage staff training.
