Canada Life is seeking an experienced Senior Group Insurance Underwriter to assess risk, quote, negotiate, and renew cases within authority levels. You will manage pricing, in-force caseloads, and annual renewals while generating financial reports and service agreements.

The role emphasizes analytical problem-solving, collaboration with multiple internal teams, and adherence to policies. A strong customer-first approach and CEBS or pursuit of designation is valued.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• You love math and are curious and inquisitive.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and quote/authorize risk within specified authority.
• Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines and policies.
• Manage pricing of in-force caseload and annual renewal of rates/expenses.
• Oversee financial reporting for assigned caseload and related agreements.
• Propose quotes for new business and respond to requests promptly.
