Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in group benefits, preferably with experience in consulting and brokerage.
• Experience spanning both consulting and client service preferred.
• Strong understanding of underwriting, renewals, plan design, and financial analysis.
• Proven direct client service and ongoing relationship management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborative work style with consultants, insurers, and internal teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted day-to-day contact for group benefits clients, providing responsive and knowledgeable service.
• Manage client inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of service requests.
• Support the analysis and management of group benefit plans, including renewals and plan changes.
• Analyze benefit plan data, claims experience, utilization, and financial information.
• Assist with underwriting and renewal processes, including reviewing insurer renewal terms and recommendations.
• Prepare and interpret reports, financial analyses, plan comparisons, and client presentations.
• Work closely with consultants, insurers, and internal stakeholders to resolve client issues and implement solutions.
• Identify trends and opportunities to improve plan design, cost management, and overall client outcomes.
• Participate in client meetings and provide technical and service-related support.
• Maintain strong, proactive relationships with clients and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
• Coordinate multiple client priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
