Job summary

Sailun Tire Americas Inc. is seeking a professional accountant to join our team in Vaughan, Canada. The role focuses on consolidation, analysis of financial data, and ensuring accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings for global entities.

Strong knowledge of ASPE/IFRS and ERP systems is essential. The ideal candidate holds CPA/CA/CGA designation (or nearing completion) with 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, and excellent analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• CPA/CGA/CA designation or nearing completion
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience in a Global multi-entity environment is an asset
• ERP experience with PowerBI, SAP and Microsoft Dynamics Navision a plus
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; SAP and Navision preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain month, quarter, and year-end closing entries and reconciliations for global entities.
• Assist in monthly management/departmental reports.
• Assist in external and internal audit processes and annual tax returns.
• Prepare monthly filings including HST, regulatory and other compliance filings.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial results.
• Continuously improve accounting processes and support ad-hoc projects.
