Job summary

A leading materials company is seeking a Manager, Accounting & Reporting in Toronto. This hybrid role involves supporting global financial closings, preparing financial statements, and improving reporting processes. To succeed, candidates should have a Canadian CPA, at least 4 years of relevant experience, and strong IFRS knowledge. The role offers opportunities for leadership and systems modernization, working with a dedicated finance team in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Canadian CPA or be in final stages.
• 4+ years of accounting, consolidation, or external reporting experience required.
• Good working knowledge of IFRS is necessary.
• Experience with consolidation tools like Sage 300 is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close for Neo’s global group.
• Prepare quarterly financial statements and selected IFRS note disclosures.
• Prepare and refine internal reporting packages for management.
• Oversee consolidation workflow in Sage and transition to OneStream.
• Supervise one Analyst and collaborate on work.

Canadian CPA

4+ years in accounting

Good working knowledge of IFRS

Experience with consolidation tools

Strong review skills

Ability to manage multiple deliverables
