Job summary

Stantec in Saskatoon is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead technical work and mentor engineers and EITs. You will work closely with a local geotechnical team and regional staff to deliver field exploration, lab testing, and design of geotechnical projects with a Saskatchewan focus.

The role offers opportunities to drive business growth, collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects, and travel within Canada as needed. A strong background in geotechnical engineering and P.Eng.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or geotechnical engineering with direct exposure to Geotechnical coursework.
• 15+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering or related services.
• Registered as a P.Eng. with APEGS.

Located in one of Canada's fastest-growing Prairie cities, Stantec's Saskatoon office is home to engineering, environmental, and infrastructure professionals working on projects that directly shape communities across Saskatchewan. The office supports work ranging from transportation and mining to water, energy, community development, and geotechnical engineering. The successful candidate will work closely with our local Geotechnical team of engineers and EITs based out of Saskatoon, supported by a wider, regional team of over 200 geotechnical engineering staff.

Education and Experience

Pay Transparency

In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
