Are you an experienced C++ Engineer with a passion for developing high-performance systems and gameplay features for mobile games?

A leading studio is looking for a Senior C++ Developer to join their team and help build innovative, high-quality mobile gaming experiences enjoyed by players around the world.

The opportunity:

As a Senior C++ Developer, you'll work on core systems and gameplay features, taking ownership of performance-critical components and collaborating closely with designers, artists, and engineers. You'll play a key part in optimising the engine for mobile devices and will also help build tools and infrastructure that improve the overall development workflow.

What you’ll be doing:

• Writing polished, efficient C++ code for core gameplay systems and features
• Leading development of major gameplay features and iterating for quality, performance, and fun
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless player experiences
• Profiling and optimising for mobile devices, focusing on frame rate, load times, and stability
• Building and maintaining internal tools, modular systems, and engine features
• Tackling challenging technical problems to improve efficiency and workflows
• Ensuring engine stability and performance across platforms
• Writing clean, test-driven code and conducting thoughtful code reviews
• Sharing knowledge and mentoring other developers
• Driving innovation and upholding quality standards across the codebase
• Staying current with modern C++ standards and best practices
• Actively participating in team discussions and responding constructively to feedback

What we’re looking for:

• 10+ years of professional experience with C++ development
• At least 3 years of experience working on mobile platforms (iOS and/or Android)
• Strong grasp of modern C++ (C++20+), engine architecture, and performance tuning
• Expertise in multi-threading, asynchronous systems, and systems-level programming
• A genuine passion for games and a deep understanding of multiple platforms
