Affirm is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to lead the Acquisition & Onboarding team within the Consumer org. This role defines long-term technical strategy, mentors engineers, and drives quality across mobile, web, and backend systems.

You will influence conversion, retention, and growth by shaping first-time user experiences. You’ll own quarterly objectives, collaborate with product and design, and ensure reliable operations and scalable backend services.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience leading mobile initiatives and cross-functional launches.
• Proven ability to define architecture and drive delivery with quality.

Responsibilities

• Own quarterly goals for your team and guide engineers through ambiguity.
• Collaborate with product, design, and analytics to align on technical constraints.
• Ensure monitoring, on-call readiness, and reliable availability of services.
• Identify and drive solutions for project, process, or tech issues.
• Set and promote code review and design standards across teams.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to talent development.
