Job summary

Veridian Tech Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to support large-scale digital transformation initiatives for a public sector client in Alberta.

This remote role allows occasional travel to Edmonton for workshops and team sessions. The position requires 5+ years in Full Stack development within Agile environments, plus strong Git, CI/CD, and testing experience across .NET Core, Node.js, or Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of Full Stack development experience in Agile environments.
• 5+ years of experience using Git for collaborative software development.
• 3+ years developing backend applications using .NET Core, Node.js, or Python (Django).
• 3+ years working with relational databases and alternative database technologies.
• 3+ years of automated unit and integration testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack web applications.
• Participate in technical discovery, solution architecture, and system design.
• Build new features using modern frontend and backend frameworks.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers, and multidisciplinary Agile teams.
• Develop reusable components and improve overall code quality and maintainability.
• Write automated unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and production releases.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and development artifacts.
• Contribute to modernization of legacy applications into cloud-ready digital services.
