Job summary

Rose International is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our government-related projects in Edmonton, AB, Canada. The role is hybrid, with primarily remote work and monthly onsite meetings, and a 13-month contract.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive .NET/C#, JavaScript, and modern frontend experience (Angular, React), with Django and Node.js skills. A Bachelor's degree is required, and the position pays 70–80 CAD per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience with Git in software development (5+ years).
• Experience with automated unit testing and integration testing (3+ years).
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (Angular/React/Vue.js) and backend Node.js/C#/.NET Core (2+ years).

Responsibilities

• Participate in project research and discovery with field interviews and technical artifacts.
• Provide solution design and development across frontend and backend.
• Collaborate with frontend designers to ensure consistent look and feel.
• Advise product owners on technical efforts and implementation options.
• Support deployment and launch for limited and general availability.
• Contribute to reusable components and document technical practices.
