Job summary

Teckhorizon Inc. is seeking experienced Full Stack Developers to support digital delivery initiatives for the Government of Alberta.

You will work in cross‑functional teams alongside product owners, designers, researchers, and other technologists to drive service innovation and digital transformation. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in modern frontend and backend stacks, cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), and a strong background in delivering production-grade applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years with Angular/React/Vue.js.
• 7+ years with C#/.NET Core, Node.js (NestJS/Express) or Python Django.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• 5+ years Git/source control experience.
• 3+ years automated unit and integration testing.
• 3+ years database technologies experience.
• 3+ years developing and supporting production applications.

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical discovery, field research, and user interviews.
• Lead technical discovery and create architecture diagrams and technical artifacts.
• Design and develop full‑stack solutions based on project requirements.
• Develop new features and enhancements for digital products and services.
• Identify and resolve functional and non‑functional defects.
• Improve code quality, tooling, maintainability and documentation.
• Collaborate with frontend designers, product owners and agile teams.
• Advise product owners on technical approaches and implementation options.
• Support deployment and product launches.
• Develop reusable components and technical capabilities.
• Contribute to team development and quality practices.
