Job summary

Workstream Platform Services Limited is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Engineer to join our growing team in a hybrid role in Vancouver. The position focuses on building scalable cloud-based solutions, collaborating with product and engineering teams, and delivering high-quality software with TDD and CI/CD discipline.

You will work closely with PMs and engineers to ship features, communicate with diverse stakeholders, and contribute to distributed system design while keeping up with evolving

Qualifications

• 8 to 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong foundation in programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with building scalable systems and test driven CI/CD commitment to quality software development.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of caching mechanisms such as Redis or Memcached.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Demonstrated experience in designing distributed systems with a holistic perspective.
• Keep up with the latest technological trends and continuously improve productivity.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and peer engineers to deliver well-scoped product features.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across Engineering, Product, GTM, and Customer Success teams.
• Advocate for and practice test-driven development (TDD) to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software.
• Your technical skills are complemented by your ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join our growing engineering team.

This is a full-time, hybrid position with 2 days a week, every Tuesday and Thursday in-office to support close cross-functional collaboration.

Day In The Life

• You are a seasoned Full Stack Engineer with a strong background in full-stack application development.
