Job summary

REALIGN LLC in Toronto, Canada is seeking an experienced IBM FTM Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and support IBM Financial Transaction Manager based applications for core payments processing.

You will work on payment flows, enterprise integration patterns, and integrations with upstream/downstream systems, ensuring platform stability, scalability and regulatory compliance while collaborating with architecture, QA, operations, and other technical teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IBM FTM experience with payments focus.
• Experience designing and supporting payment flows.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience integrating FTM with other systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain IBM FTM-based applications.
• Develop and support payment flows for transaction processing.
• Build and maintain integrations between FTM and upstream/downstream systems.
• Participate in full SDLC including testing and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues.
• Collaborate with architecture, QA, operations and other teams.
• Support modernization of payment hub solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation and share knowledge.
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.
