Job summary

EverCommerce is seeking a Senior Web Engineer to join the Joist product team, focusing on delivering scalable web client-side features. You will design, build, and maintain robust UI components, collaborating with Product and Design to ship high-quality features for North American customers.

You’ll own code quality, drive performance improvements, and be comfortable working autonomously in a remote Canada-based setup, with opportunities to expand to other platforms as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of frontend experience with JavaScript, preferably React.
• Strong JS fundamentals and semantic HTML/CSS expertise.
• Experience with UI libraries such as Material UI and component design.
• Experience with unit/integration testing (Jest/RTL).
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering.
• Familiarity with TS, Redux, Storybook, Playwright is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable code for web client-side apps.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to ship new features.
• Maintain code quality through reviews and documentation.
• Drive technical excellence and resolve bottlenecks and bugs.
• Autonomously take ownership and contribute to other platforms if needed.
