Job summary

OpenTable is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Front of House web team in Toronto. This remote role will transition to a hybrid schedule, requiring office presence 2x/week. Responsibilities include building and improving software utilized by restaurants to manage service in real-time, focusing on critical workflows like reservations and in-house management.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in software development, especially with React, and demonstrate strong communication skills, technical planning, and code maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time professional experience as a software developer in a team environment.
• Experience implementing designs and collaborating with designers.
• Comfortable providing and receiving feedback in a code review process.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve software for restaurant staff.
• Drive projects from technical planning through to production rollout.
