OpenTable in Toronto is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Front of House web team. This remote position will transition to hybrid, involving in-office work in downtown Toronto. You will develop software crucial for restaurant operations, enhance code quality, and collaborate with diverse teams.

This will be a remote role to start, with plans to transition to hybrid in-office 2x/week located in downtown Toronto at 134 Peter Street.
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Front of House web team, you’ll build and improve the software that restaurant staff use to run service in real time. The team’s work spans critical operational workflows across reservations and related Front of House experiences, including areas such as seating, timeline, reservation editing, waitlist workflows, and in-house reservation management.
This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys complex product domains, values clean and maintainable code, and can help drive projects from technical planning through production rollout.
The expected compensation range for this Toronto, Canada based role is $155,000 - $175,000 CAD. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a compensation range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required.
