Job summary

Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking a dedicated, customer service oriented Senior Front Office Host to join our Front Office team.

Responsibilities include onboarding and training new hosts, managing guest registrations, communicating hotel services and promotions, and supporting management to improve workflow. This face of Hyatt delivers memorable guest experiences while handling payments and inquiries, with shifts including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years Front Desk experience in hotels.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficient cash handling and POS skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Opera PMS experience is an asset.
• Second language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and train new Front Office Hosts.
• Provide feedback with management to improve workflow.
• Manage guest registrations and communicate hotel services.
• Respond to guest inquiries and promote hotel promotions.
