OpenText in Canada seeks a Senior Manager FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close for the Enterprise Information Technology organization.

You will mentor a team of FP&A professionals, partner with business leaders to understand third-party costs, and drive automation to improve reporting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive FP&A experience in tech or software.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to partner with business leaders.
• Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and month-end experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to drive decisions with financial insights.

Responsibilities

• Build and support bottoms-up budgets and forecasts supporting annual OPEX of more than $450M.
• Lead month-end activities and ensure financial results are closed accurately and on time.
• Partner closely with business leaders to develop a deep understanding of third-party costs and spending drivers, including hyperscalers and datacenter operations.
• Consolidate, analyze, and present financial results to leadership, highlighting key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Manage and mentor a team of FP&A analysts, fostering a culture of analytical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Corporate FP&A, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and alignment with corporate objectives.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance forecast accuracy, cost allocation methodologies, and reporting efficiency.
• Support business cases, strategic initiatives, special projects, and growth-focused investment decisions.
