Job summary

Canadian Addiction Treatment Centres (CATC) is a leading Canadian provider of addiction treatment services, operating a large and growing network across the country. The Senior Financial Analyst will own budgeting, forecasting and management reporting, partnering with finance, operations and other leaders to translate data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field required.
• Experience using Power BI for data analysis, visualization and reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large data sets).
• Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to translate data into insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly/quarterly/annual close processes for accurate reporting.
• Contribute to quarterly forecasts and annual budgeting with department heads.
• Provide management with period-end reports and variance analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline reporting and data gathering.
• Analyze operational trends with regular weekly insights.
• Build business-case models for new revenue initiatives and quantify impact.
• Act as FP&A partner to senior management to meet financial goals.
• Integrate initiatives into plans and forecasts with business teams.
• Drive FP&A process improvements and model accuracy.
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses to support strategic decisions.
• Develop analytics and reporting tools using BI platforms to provide actionable insights.
• Lead cross-functional data analytics projects addressing business challenges.
• Ensure data reporting integrity, accessibility, and governance.
• Present complex findings clearly to stakeholders.
