Job summary

MNP LLP in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking a Senior Consultant in Forensics & Litigation Support to lead fraud investigations, provide litigation support, and deliver expert financial analyses for diverse clients. The role emphasizes anti-fraud controls, risk assessments, and development of independent financial reports.

You will manage engagements, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development, with flexibility to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• CFE designation or plan to obtain within 2 years is required or pursued.
• 4–5 years of public accounting experience; advisory/consulting experience is a plus.
• Ability to obtain Reliability Status through the Government of Canada Contract Security Program.
• Experience in business and practice development.

Responsibilities

• Propose, plan and deliver client engagements assisting fraud investigations, litigation support, risk assessments and regulatory inquiries.
• Calculate and analyze economic loss claims, provide commercial advice, prepare financials and trace funds/accounts.
• Analyze financial data and contribute to independent expert financial reports and financial models.
• Develop project plans and coordinate project logistics with clients and stakeholders.
• Provide industry and technical expertise through research, analysis, reports and proposals.
• Identify ways to deliver added value and grow client relationships.
• Lead engagement teams, coach junior members and contribute to proposals.
• Travel as necessary to client sites.
