Job summary

MNP is seeking a Senior Consultant for Forensics and Litigation Support in Toronto. You will lead engagements on fraud investigations, provide litigation support, and analyze economic loss while mentoring junior staff. The role involves client advisory work within a leading national firm.

Ideal candidates have 4–5 years in public accounting and should pursue the CFE designation within 2 years, with travel flexibility and Reliability Status eligibility.

Qualifications

• CFE designation or plan to obtain within 2 years.
• 4-5 years of public accounting experience; advisory or consulting experience is an asset.
• Ability to obtain Reliability Status through the Government of Canada Contract Security Program

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Propose, plan and deliver client engagements assisting fraud investigations, litigation support, risk assessments and other specialized proceedings or regulatory inquiries for a wide variety of clients, industries and disputes
• Calculate and analyze economic loss claims, provide commercial advice, prepare financials and trace funds/accounts
• Analyze financial data and participate in the development of independent expert financial reports and financial models
• Develop project plans and coordinate project logistics with clients and other stakeholders
• Provide industry and technical expertise through client interactions, research and analysis, reports, technical work, management presentations, proposals and other high-quality deliverables
• Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure client needs are met and relationships grow and develop
• Lead engagement teams, developing effective relationships with clients while coaching and mentoring junior team members
• Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals
• Begin the IFA program within 2 years of joining the firm
• Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary

Skills and Experience

• CFE designation or a plan to obtain the designation within 2 years
• 4 to 5 years of public accounting experience; advisory or consulting experience is considered an asset
• Ability to obtain Reliability Status through the Government of Canada Contract Security Program
• Experience in business and practice development
