Job summary

MDD, A Davies Company in Kingston is a specialized forensic accounting firm offering business valuations, litigation support and forensic investigations. We seek a Senior Forensic Accountant to lead engagements and mentor junior staff.

The role requires a CPA, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and expertise in quantifying commercial insurance claims. Hybrid work with travel as needed; strong analytical, writing and client communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• CPA designation required.
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience.
• Experience measuring commercial insurance claims.
• Experience in litigation support helpful.
• Ability to manage staff and mentor others.
• Strong analytical, writing and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with clients; attending meetings and communicating the results of your analysis.
• Developing and maintaining technical expertise on engagements.
• Assisting other offices with workload and technical matters.
• Supervising and teaching junior level accountants.
• Participating in new business development and client retention.
• Travel may be required depending on assignments.
