Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a fire protection and building mechanics specialist to join our Quebec team. You will contribute to design and implementation of fire protection systems for institutional, industrial, and commercial settings across Quebec and beyond.

Based in Montreal, Longueuil, Laval, or Quebec City, you will collaborate with internal teams and external clients, applying NFPA standards and hydraulic calculations to deliver safe, innovative building solutions.

Qualifications

• College diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent training.
• 7 years of experience in fire protection.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards.
• Knowledge of HydraCalc software.
• Ability to perform and interpret hydraulic calculations.
• Good understanding of fire safety engineering principles.
• ASP construction card is an asset.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Knowledge of English is an asset to collaborate with teams outside Quebec.
