We’re looking for our next Senior Financial Reporting Analyst. Could it be you?
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Reporting, the successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of all internal and external financial reporting including variance analysis, assisting with the month end financial close, preparation of monthly reporting package, analyzing internal controls, assisting with external and internal audits, coordinating with tax consultants and ad hoc projects as needed.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of monthly internal reporting for senior management IFRS including preparation of monthly consolidated financial information.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements including all disclosures on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Supporting with month end financial close, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations for key accounting areas.
- Preparation and management of monthly financial reporting package to other entities including the parent company.
- Management of financial reporting of all subsidiaries including review of monthly financial statements, local statutory reporting, local financial statements, transfer pricing reporting and any other complex accounting issues.
- Researching and providing detailed analysis on technical accounting matters with respect to complex accounting areas or new accounting standards of IFRS if any and preparation of detailed accounting memos as needed.
- Maintaining effective internal controls over financial reporting.
- Coordinating with internal audit and different internal departments to ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Managing deliverables and coordinating with external auditors for quarterly review engagements and annual audit. Ownership and maintenance of the Chart of Accounts.
- Coordinating and providing information to Tax groups and consultants for filing of corporate tax returns.
- Assisting with other ad-hoc projects, as needed

- Have a CPA designation
- Have a minimum of 4-5 years’ working experience in an accounting or financial reporting environment. Experience with Big 4 firms is an asset.
- Have experience with financial institutions like banks, credit cards issuers or fintech companies is an asset
- Have exceptional knowledge and understanding of IFRS
- Have experience with working on internal controls or in a SOX environment.
- Have sound judgment and decision-making.
- Have a passion for working in an exciting, high-growth and changing environment.
- Have exceptional communication and collaboration skills with an emphasis on teamwork.
- Have strong organizational skills and time management skills; planning and project management, and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- Are pro-active and have a positive attitude.
- Have solid interpersonal and communication skills to articulate quantitative and qualitative results.
- Have excellent working knowledge of Excel.
