The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role on the Finance team as it continues to develop new processes & reports to meet the fast-paced growth environment. The ability to develop/enhance skills in many facets of the Finance function will be available given the culture and the close-knit nature of the team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Completion of full-cycle accounting leading to the month-end close
• Analysis and reconciliation of B/S, I/S, Cash Flow statements
• Participation in the preparation of monthly & annual consolidated reporting including making recommendations using high-level quantitative skills/tools
• Development, monitoring and interpretation of key operating metrics and trends
• Participation in the corporate planning process including updating forecasts and maintaining projection models
• Participation in developing and operationalizing new management reporting as well as profitability reporting and dashboards
• Engagement in the y/e audit process and preparation of reports for outside parties.
• Participation in the system deployment of MS Business Central/Dynamics and other automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business/Accounting with a CPA completed or in progress
• Current or prior experience in a public accounting firm is an asset.
• 4+ years of experience and knowledge of corporate accounting and financial management.
• Advanced written communication and intermediate/advanced computer skills: Excel Pivots/Lookups, Macros or SQL/VBA, MS Business Central/Dynamics, Power BI
• Strong technical, analytical, and critical thinking skills

Employment Type

Full time with regular working hours (currently remote and in-person hybrid working environment).
