This is a 6 month contract with permanent potential

About The Opportunity:

• Prepare quarterly financial statements, financial projections, and other quarterly reporting documents;
• Manage the annual audit process, including preparing technical accounting memos and working papers for complex transactions;
• Take ownership of the Company’s general ledger and prepare/review month-end reconciliations;
• Manage the annual budgeting process;
• Support the preparation and review of governance documents, including quarterly Board packages, Investment Committee presentations, company policies, etc.;
• Assist with regulatory reporting such as the Annual Information Form, Management Information Circular, and other filings;
• Analyze revenue and develop economic models for private and public companies;
• Participate in transaction execution, including due diligence and structuring;
• Manage the stock-based compensation program, including facilitating share-based awards, maintaining related databases, preparing documentation and valuations, and handling regulatory filings.

About You:

• Chartered Professional Accountant (or equivalent foreign designation);
• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, including financial reporting and FP&A;
• Experience with IFRS is an asset;
• Strong project management skills, financial modeling, and data interpretation abilities;
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with high attention to detail;
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small, fast-paced environment and independently when needed.
