Overview

This position is part of the corporate reporting accounting team, directly reporting to the senior manager of compensation accounting and MD&A reporting. This permanent role focuses on compensation accounting, including reconciliations and financial analysis to prepare portions of MD&A for public reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage compensation accounting and related reconciliations.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support MD&A reporting for public disclosure.
  • Collaborate with the corporate reporting team to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Utilize financial systems and tools such as Pivot tables and v-lookups for data analysis.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor of Accounting or Finance.
  • 3+ years of experience in Public Practice or Public Company.
  • CPA or ACCA accreditation.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in basic Pivot tables and v-lookups.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • US GAAP knowledge.
  • Experience with SEC/SEDAR+ filing.
  • Experience with MD&A reporting.
  • 3+ years of experience in reconciliation.
  • Oracle knowledge is an asset.
  • Diligent with strong ownership skills.
  • Good communication and attention to detail.
Work Environment

This role offers a hybrid work environment, requiring one day per week in the office until December 2025, increasing to three days in office starting January 2026. The position involves direct reporting to the Senior Manager of Compensation Accounting & MD&A, working closely with other financial analysts. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, and the team consists of 11-13 members in corporate reporting.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
