Job summary

Constellation Data Labs, a division of Constellation Software, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Finance Manager to lead the finance function for a growing and dynamic business.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including management reporting, accounting compliance, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and operational finance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years FP&A experience.
• Minimum 2 years people management experience.
• University degree in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong IFRS-15 revenue recognition knowledge.
• Experience with offshore teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Great Plains a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall business P&L and full cycle accounting processes including invoicing and collections, bi-weekly forecasting, financial reporting and analysis and corporate accounting compliance.
• Build a team, processes and align the new business with standard best practices and systems.
• Analyze monthly results to provide insights into forecast variances, KPIs/ratios and trends.
• Provide management with actionable insights and timely updates on financial performance.
• Own forecasting cycle and update based on business changes.
• Partner with senior leadership to support strategic plans.
• Lead AR management and minimize collection risk with weekly calls and timely escalation.
• Support quarterly strategic reviews and actively participate in them.
• Provide strategic financial advice and insights on key trends in management calls.
• Collaborate with portfolio units to share best practices and opportunities for synergies.
• Lead and develop offshore resources with coaching and feedback.
• Identify new areas for investigation or improvement.
• Handle ad hoc projects as requested by senior management.
