Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Finance Manager to serve as a strategic financial partner to Operations, leading financial planning, analysis, and control for designated business lines.

The role emphasizes collaboration with project managers and senior leaders to drive profitable growth. The ideal candidate will bring a deep finance/accounting background in professional services, with leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to implement financial processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Commerce or related field.
• At least 10 years of directly related financial management experience.
• CPA designation or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Proficiency in English and French preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a finance business partner to Operations leadership and management teams.
• Oversee financial operations for business centers, including revenue recognition, DSO, WIP, and cash cycle.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/YE executive summaries with variance analyses.
• Develop financial plans, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts with business partners.
• Ensure accurate forecasts for material projects and KPI bonuses.
• Develop pricing and costing models for large bids and joint ventures.
• Maintain internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Coordinate monthly project reviews and analyze financial performance for improvements.
• Collaborate with other Finance Managers to implement continuous process improvements.
• Understand and manage key contractual agreements with clients.
• Assist with acquisitions and integration of project financial data.
