Peace Hills Trust is seeking an experienced Manager of Finance to lead the Finance team in its Edmonton head office. The role focuses on close processes, financial reporting, budgeting, and treasury operations, with accountability for accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate will be a CPA with 5+ years in accounting/finance, 3–5 years of leadership, strong internal controls, and experience with IFRS. Knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Dynamics 365 is advantageous.

Formación

• CPA qualification required.
• 5+ years in accounting and finance, including auditing and reporting.
• 3–5 years of management and leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and business processes.
• Experience in regulated environments or public practice is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a six-person Finance team and set priorities.
• Oversee accounting and treasury operations, monthly close, journal entries.
• Coordinate monthly and annual financial statements and management reporting.
• Lead annual budget development and financial forecasting.
• Strengthen internal controls and documentation; implement improvements.
• Monitor IFRS changes and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate information for external and internal auditors and address findings.
