Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Senior Service Technician for the Greater Toronto Area. The role involves independently installing, servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting packaging equipment at customer sites, with extensive travel and strong safety discipline.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of mechanical and field service experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills; working electrical knowledge.
• Ability to work independently in customer environments.
• Solid understanding of OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• French is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Install, service, maintain, and troubleshoot Smurfit Westrock equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform machinery audits and preventative maintenance.
• Train customer operators and maintenance personnel.
• Explain repairs performed and preventive recommendations.
• Complete service reports, customer signatures and expense reports accurately.
