Job summary

JPdL in Montreal seeks an experienced events professional to lead operations and design services for conferences, incentive trips and meetings across Canada. You will coordinate with senior leadership to ensure flawless program execution and client satisfaction.

The role requires +5 years in events, Montreal knowledge, bilingual English/French, travel readiness, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset. Hybrid work arrangement with on-site travel during events is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum +5 years of managing/operating business events.
• Degree or accreditation in Hospitality/Event Management or related field (CMP, DMCP, DES) is asset.
• Be flexible to work on events operating weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Ability to travel to events in cities you do not reside.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently.
• Knowledge of Montreal - venues, restaurants and attractions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite (SharePoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Research and analytical skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Bilingualism (English/French) a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Event Operations: 80-90% effort to ensure smooth, flawless program execution with the Operations team.
• Manage on-site and remote programs including conventions, incentive trips, meetings and other events.
• Manage partners, suppliers and overall operational budgets.
