Job summary

The Pacific National Exhibition in Vancouver seeks a Senior Manager, Event Operations to lead the integrated portfolio of year-round events, Fair operations, tenant activity, concerts, festivals, trade shows, film activity and community events. You will drive day-to-day delivery, financial stewardship, risk management and a high-quality guest experience across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in live events operations.
• Strong experience in event financial management and budgeting.
• Diploma, certificate or degree in Event Management or related field.
• Ability to work weekends and extended hours.
• Criminal Record Check required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of year-round events, fairs, concerts, festivals and trade shows.
• Oversee budgeting, cost controls and financial reconciliation for events.
• Guide cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, Park Operations and Security.
• Ensure health, safety and guest experience standards across all events.
• Provide leadership and development for event managers and staff.
