Job summary

Jobtailor in Toronto, Canada, seeks an experienced events professional to plan, manage, and execute in-house meetings, conferences, and assigned events. You will lead a meeting support team and ensure budget accuracy with thorough reconciliation and post-event follow-up.

Qualifications

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
  • 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)
  • Ability to plan, manage, and implement in-house meetings, conferences, and events
  • Ability to maintain accurate and complete budget reports, reconciliation, and post-event follow-up
  • Experience reviewing and analyzing event outcomes
  • Ability to research and develop technologies for conference planning and meeting support
  • Ability to assist with project management activities
  • Ability to document processes and procedures
  • Ability to create and meet SLAs and KPIs
  • Ability to prepare, manage, and reconcile budgets and review billing for accuracy
  • Ability to work with internal and external clients to coordinate event logistics

Responsibilities

  • Review internal processes and recommend cost-reduction and efficiency strategies
