Job summary

Kinetic Construction Ltd. has an opportunity in our Vancouver Branch for a Senior Estimator to lead and support the estimating and pre-construction process from early opportunity identification through to project handover to operations.

This role will help implement estimating standards across branches and ensure estimates are accurate and aligned with company processes. The salary band for this position is CAD 115,000 - CAD 173,000 annually and is based on relevant skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or Architecture, or direct experience equivalent.
• Construction Related Technology Certificate Diploma is required.
• 10+ years of experience in Pre-Construction, Estimating, and/or related field.
• ICI sector of the construction industry

• Lead and support the estimating and pre-construction process from opportunity identification to handover.
• Implement and maintain estimating standards across branches.

The salary band for this position is $115,000 - $173,000 annually and is based on relevant skills and experience.

Qualifications and Experience

• Undergraduate degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or Architecture, or direct experience equivalent
• Construction Related Technology Certificate Diploma is required
• 10+ years of experience in Pre‑Construction, Estimating, and/or related field
• Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (ICI) sector of the construction industry

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Estimating and Quantity Take Off software knowledge is a must
• Ability to understand and analyse contract specifications, drawings, scopes of works and other construction documents and communicate these in written text and speech
• Must have a strong attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude

• Must be self‑motivated with strong willingness and ability to learn and to be challenged
