Newport Williams is seeking a Senior ERP Business Analyst to join the ERP team. The role sits at the intersection of business and technology, driving system improvements and implementations across Finance and Distribution.

You will lead functional design, manage configurations, and coordinate data conversions while collaborating with business users, IT teams, and management to deliver tangible solutions. This position is on-site, permanent, and requires strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in ERP Finance and Distribution functional roles.
• 7+ years designing processes, specs, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with full lifecycle ERP implementations.
• Experience with data conversions and 3rd party integrations.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior functional lead across Finance and Distribution (Sales Order, Picking, Shipping).
• Manage configuration, specs, and business process design.
• Lead ERP implementations and system upgrades end-to-end.
• Drive data conversions, MDM, and 3rd party integrations.
• Facilitate requirements sessions with business users and managers.
• Develop test plans and oversee UAT; produce user manuals and training.
• Provide second-level support and troubleshoot integrated apps.
• Advise on options, risks, and downstream impacts on processes.
• Mentor junior team members and support cross-platform transitions.

Senior ERP Business Analyst - Finance & Distribution

Our client is looking for a seasoned ERP Business Analyst to join their ERP team. This is a hands-on senior functional role sitting at the intersection of business and technology - you'll work directly with business users, process owners, and IT teams to drive system improvements, support implementations, and deliver real solutions across Finance and Distribution.

What You'll Be Doing

• Acting as the senior functional lead across Finance and Distribution processes including Sales Order Management, Picking, Shipping, and Transportation Management
• Managing configuration, functional specifications, and business process design
• Leading and supporting full lifecycle ERP implementations and system upgrades
• Driving data conversions, master data management, and 3rd party integrations
• Facilitating requirements gathering sessions with business users, process owners, and management
• Developing test plans and overseeing UAT
• Producing user manuals, training materials, and business presentations
• Providing second-level system support and troubleshooting across integrated applications
• Advising on options, risks, resource requirements, and downstream impacts on business processes
• Mentoring junior team members and contributing to overall team capability
• Supporting acquisitions and system transitions across platforms

What You Bring

• 7+ years of functional analyst experience in ERP Finance and Distribution
• 7+ years in process design, functional specification, configuration, and troubleshooting across Finance and Distribution modules
• 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record on full lifecycle ERP implementations
• Experience with data conversions, master data management, and 3rd party system integrations
• Background in business process re-engineering and process improvement initiatives

• Experience with acquisitions and system transition projects
• Strong project management and organizational skills - comfortable leading multiple initiatives concurrently
