Job summary

The City of Brandon is seeking an Equipment Operator II to join the Streets Section in Brandon, Manitoba. This full-time, permanent role operates a variety of street maintenance equipment and supports safe, efficient operations under the CUPE Local 69 agreement.

Qualifications

• MUST have Grade 12 or equivalent and a valid Manitoba Class 3 Driver's license with air endorsement.
• Must provide a current driver's abstract.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating Equipment Operator II classification equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of equipment including street sweeper, plow/broom, sander and other listed machinery as part of the Streets section.
• Perform maintenance and repairs; assist in loading/unloading and follow safety regulations.
• Maintain records of materials, equipment hours and mileage as required.
