Job summary

Canadian Nuclear Laboratories seeks a Project Lead to deliver a major remediation initiative. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, supervise contractors and vendors, and drive project objectives within safety and regulatory requirements.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and procurement while mentoring team members and reporting to senior leadership. This role emphasizes collaboration with regulators and communities across Canada and requires onsite leadership at Port Hope, Ontario.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated project management expertise across scope, cost, schedule, quality, communications, and risk management.
• Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.
• Experience supervising contractors, consultants, and vendors in field work and construction.
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior leaders and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, lead and coordinate all project disciplines to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Implement PM tools, methodologies and best practices aligned with project baselines.
• Ensure safety, quality, environmental and health requirements are integrated into plans.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule and budget with stakeholder alignment.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts.
• Report progress and key updates to senior management and clients.
• Coordinate multiple work packages and interfaces across teams and vendors.
• Lead contract and procurement strategies and manage vendor relationships.
• Mentor and develop team members in PM and leadership practices.
• Collaborate with clients, regulators and community representatives to support project success.
• Support compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
